How the Hour Works
You set the agenda! Everyone submits topics at the beginning of the meeting, the group votes on what to cover, and we work through the list as time allows. These conversations tend to be some of the most valuable in the meeting because they are timely issues, and reveal how universal certain challenges are across very different industries.
Check in
Introduce yourself by describing your role without using your title. Then we review the ground rules: what’s shared stays in the room, and everyone brings a growth mindset.
Submit Topics
Everyone adds to the list. Bring an issue you’re stuck on, a decision you’re weighing, or something you want feedback on. Nothing is off-limits.
Vote on the list
The group votes on the order of what we cover, so the hour goes to topics that will provide the most value to the people in the room.
Work Through It
We take the topics in order as time allows. Peers share what’s worked, what hasn’t, and what they’d try next – all in a confidential setting.

Created by someone who was the Second-In-Command.
Megan Long spent a decade as the COO and Second-in-Command of a $10 million entrepreneur-led company. Even with an MBA and CPA, she spent years figuring it out on her own — isolated, without peers who truly understood the role.

Yes. The Roundtable is free, and you don’t need to be a Second First member to attend!
What should I prepare?
A topic or two you’re working through right now. You’ll add them to the list at the start, and the group votes on what to cover.
Join from somewhere you can talk openly, with your camera on. (This is a conversation, not a webinar.)
Is what I share confidential?
Yes. Everything shared in the roundtable is kept in the strictest of confidences in perpetuity by both attendees and Second First team members. It’s the same standard of confidentiality we hold in every mastermind meeting.
Is this meeting recorded?
Absolutely not. Roundtables aren’t recorded, so everyone can speak openly.
Am I going to be pitched to?
The hour is a working session with your peers, not a pitch. If you’d like to hear about the Second First membership afterward, we’re glad to talk.
What if I can't make every month?
That’s expected! Your one registration covers every Roundtable, so join the months you can and skip the ones you can’t. No need to re-register.
